Our Story
This is me, Chelsea. I'm the owner of Mrs Lovett's Bakery and you'll often see my partner Dylan AKA chief taste tester at events helping out, sometimes our little helper tags along - my little boy called Woody🥰
I started baking from a young age with my family, any excuse I could get to bake a cake I was right there😅
I decided during the lockdown to open Mrs Lovett's, within a few days I'd purchased everything I thought I needed to make my first batch of cupcakes (the videos on tiktok made it look way simpler than it was)🫣
I posted my first box of cupcakes online and I took my first few orders, a birthday cake order from a friend, some James Bond cupcakes for a BNI meeting and a huge Halloween/birthday cupcake order🥳
Initially I panicked and wondered if I could do it, I even had nightmares about some orders which lead to some interesting conversations in my sleep with my partner..😂💭
Now I own more equipment than I can store which has taken over most of my kitchen and I'm more passionate than ever about making my dream of my own little coffee shop a reality☕️
We have lots of exciting things in store including events, market stalls, competitions and giveaways and we shall be posting more videos on social media to show you what we get upto behind the scenes🥰 If you love cake and a little natter drop us a like and order a platter🤭
